Precision Balanced MC Step-Up Transformer
QVATTVOR 4x4 is a fully balanced MC step-up transformer designed for cartridges
requiring a higher reflected load than the standard Classic/Pacto configurations.
It uses a 1:16 step-up ratio, providing a reflected load of approximately 200 Ω when connected to a standard 47 kΩ phono input.
This makes it particularly suitable for MC cartridges with medium to higher internal impedance,
as well as cartridges that benefit from a higher and more controlled load.
The transformer platform can be configured with either an amorphous cobalt or mu-metal magnetic core,
combined with precision winding technology optimized for high inductance, wide bandwidth and low distortion.
The transformer is configured in a serial-series connection, providing a fully balanced signal path and high signal integrity.
The floating RCA inputs allow a standard RCA-connected MC cartridge to operate through the fully balanced transformer circuit.
Compared with the Classic/Pacto, offering 1:10 / 470 Ω and 1:36 / 32 Ω configurations,
QVATTVOR 4x4 provides a different impedance matching solution at 1:16 / approximately 200 Ω.
